Originally built in 1872 as a holiday home for the Maw family, the hotel occupies an unrivalled position on the seafront at Cowes enjoying spectacular views of the bustling Solent with it’s array of yachts, cruise ships and watercraft providing the most fantastic backdrop for your photographs.


The hotel has been family owned for over 25 years and is extremely proud to have established an enviable reputation for exceptional food, professional and friendly service and a warm, welcoming atmosphere.


If you are marrying in church, we are pleased to host your afternoon and evening receptions or alternatively we are fully licensed for Civil Ceremonies and you can enjoy your whole day from exchanging vows to evening party all under one roof.


We offer a selection of wedding packages with menus and drinks designed to cover a variety of tastes. If you prefer something a little more individual, we are always pleased to


work with you and build a bespoke day based on your ideas and requirements.


Whichever you decide, our team of talented chefs will provide a freshly produced meal of the highest quality for you and your guests to enjoy. We also offer an extensive wine list and are more than pleased to assist with your selections.


From your initial meeting, you will have a dedicated Wedding Coordinator who will work with you, assisting and helping you to plan every detail of your special day.


All of our packages include complimentary accommodation for the bride and groom and with our 26 bedrooms, your guests can also be accommodated with a special rate being available for the night of the wedding.


The New Holmwood team prides itself on delivering a truly personal service to our couples making your wedding day everything you hoped for and more.
