The Spinnaker understand that your wedding day is one of the most important of one’s life. Our experienced staff pride themselves on the attention to detail and quality service that they provide to ensure you will remember your special day forever.
Situated in the beautifully decorated Edwardian hotel, our Stern Room is the perfect venue for your wedding ceremony with seating for up to 110 guests. Access can be made directly from our hotel reception giving you and your guests complete privacy. After the ceremony you will be guided down the red carpet where your guests will get the chance to shower you with confetti. While you head out for your photography at your preferred location, your guests can remain with us and be treated to Champagne and canapes.
Wedding breakfasts are held in our light and airy restaurant, again seating up to 110 guests. Our dedicated wedding coordinator will be on hand to ensure your day runs smoothly, from initial show around visit, through booking and to the spectacular wedding day conclusion! All of our packages include the red carpet on arrival, table linen, menu tasting, private fully licensed bar until midnight, special rates on accommodation for your guests and the wealth of
experience brought by our senior management team.
Our brigade of chefs create a host of menu ideas and choices to cater for every taste whether you are having a traditional wedding breakfast, buffet or even a celebratory evening meal after your return from being married abroad. They utilise the best quality produce sourced from the Island and south coast.
The Spinnaker is also delighted to partner with the LGBTQ+ community to help you celebrate your special day from planning to wedding day.
The Spinnaker boasts 14 en suite bedrooms with a mixture of styles and sizes. All have been refurbished to a high standard and give the opportunity for a farewell breakfast with your guests the morning after your celebration. For some extra sparkle why not enjoy a Champagne breakfast? We can also offer a Sunday Lunch for you and your guests to catch up over, after the big day. If a festive winter wedding is what you fancy then The Spinnaker can offer a fully festively decorated hotel where you can celebrate in the warmth of the Christmas spirit.
