s we face another decade we reflect on our journey and hope you enjoy taking a look back at some of the wonderful stories we have shared over the years, along with those from the present.
The great thing with our job is we never know what our next meeting will entail. When we heard about Adrian and his four therapy huskies, we just had to go along and meet him and his pack. We were completely blown away by how talented his dogs are and it was heartwarming to hear about the great work they do to lift the spirits of others. There really are so many selfless people in our region that do so much to enrich the lives of others. None more so than Darren Warner who devotes all his spare time to helping people with disabilities to enjoy a game of football. We are always delighted to share stories about caring community projects and this edition is no exception. Hopefully you’ll be inspired by one of the many organisations in our area and get involved in 2020.
If you are planning on jetting off to a foreign land
this year, make sure you read our health article that advises on what vaccinations you will need. Wherever 2020 takes you, we would like to thank you for your continued support. We get such lovely feedback from people who through the Aroundtown find out about things they never knew existed on their doorstep.
