Broadstone Youth Club


Last term we took the decision to extend our Youth Club to Year 7 children. It has been phenomenally popular and as a result we are now seeing up to 200 children attending the club each week aged from 11 to 16.


As you know, the club is run entirely by volunteers and on behalf of all the children and families who use the club now or who have used it since we reopened six years ago, thank you!


On some evenings, we have up to 60 children at the club and we often have three or four activities going on at any one time. This includes sport in the school playground and we need to provide supervision and cover across the space. We are therefore seeking two additional volunteers to get involved and make sure we can keep the club open for the rest of the school year.


If you can spare a couple of hours on a Tuesday evening we would love to hear from you, even


if you can only help every other week. As we move into a new year it’s a great time to think about whether you can create a little bit of space in your life to volunteer, it’s incredibly rewarding and can actually be huge fun, so please do think about it and get in touch with us at broadstoneyouthclub@ gmail.com
