Evoke Telecom wins national comms award


Telecommunication specialists Evoke Telecom has been awarded the Best Enterprise Vertical Market Solution at the 2019 CNA Comms National Awards. Over 600 representatives


and industry leaders attended from across the ICT sector for an eighties-themed evening recently held at The Hilton on Park Lane, London. Evoke Telecom was


recognised by an esteemed panel of 14 judges for providing the UK’s first ever Avaya Smart Campus solution. This solution has transformed security and safety for staff and over 2,000 pupils at the Loughborough Schools Foundation. Evoke’s Managing Director


David Wardell said: “Evoke is honoured to receive this high level of recognition for providing a ‘UK first’ solution. What is more pleasing is that it helps to address one of the most important and relevant topics of current times; school safety.”

East Midlands-based managed service provider (MSP), Air IT, has been named MSP of the Year at the annual CRN Channel Partners Awards 2019. The annual CRN Channel Awards recognise


excellence within the UK channel industry, celebrating the latest innovations and advancements in technology. This year’s impressive fun fair themed ceremony took


place at Battersea Park Evolution in London, with over 1,600 channel professions in attendance. Air IT received judges’ praise for its forward-thinking


use of technology and high customer satisfaction levels, as well as its employee development and growth pathways. It was also recognised for its long-term relationships with clients and vendors. The win comes as great news for the leading ICT


company, which serves over 400 clients across the Midlands and nationwide. James Healey, Managing Director at Air IT, said: “I’m

Roadgas joins Nottingham Rugby Club


Nottingham Rugby has announced the latest recruit to the Green ‘N’ Whites team for the 2019/20 season - Roadgas Roadgas is one of the UK’s


leading supplier of compressed natural gas and biomethane refuelling station infrastructure and will be working with the club to develop a grass roots female community rugby programme over the coming months. Steve Smith, Nottingham
