from eight to 12 makes the drill versatile, says Vaderstad. The 12- row confi guration enables narrow row spacing alternatives from 450 to 508mm.
A new 3000 litre fertiliser hop-
per is available for all eight, 12- and 18-row Tempo L models. It is op- tional for existing Tempo L 12 and Tempo L 18 models.
Fitted with the same high ca-
pacity Fenix III metering system as the 5000 litre hopper, it deliv- ers up to 350kg/ha of fertiliser at 15km/hr planting speed. The Tempo L 8 and the new fer-
tiliser hopper – as well as the new row spacing alternatives for Tem- po L 12 and Tempo L 18 – went into production last month.
Inter-plant weeders take centre stage at show
A range of hydraulically-driv- en, inter-plant weeders for use on various row crops will take centre stage on the JF Hud- son stand at LAMMA. The North Yorkshire fi rm has an exclusive UK distri- bution agreement for the machines and other agricul- tural equipment produced by Italian manufacturer Spap- peri.
The inter-plant weeders
are available in single, two, three and four-row variants. Ground-engaging rotary weeder heads each carry three vertical knives moved lateral- ly between seedlings or grow- ing plants by an operator sit- ting on the implement using manual or hydraulic levers.
