WHILE FAMILY IS THE HEART OF TANDEMLOC, ITS BACKBONE IS MADE UP OF SOME OF THE HIGHEST-QUALITY SPECIALIZED PRODUCTS ON THE MARKET.
PAVING THE WAY While family is the heart of Tandemloc, its backbone is made up of some of the highest-quality specialized products on the market. “Our roots in designing and developing products for special applications has kept us customer driven,” DiMartino, Jr. maintained. “Generic container and intermodal products were extremely competitive, and it was through necessity that we found our niche in the special applications arena.” Tat said, it wasn’t until the late 1990s that the company began to design and manufacture custom lifting devices. But in just a short amount of time, they established themselves as leaders in the below-the-hook industry and special applications container market. Since the beginning, Tandemloc’s ability to innovate has helped set them apart from the competition. Te ingenuity of DiMartino, Sr.’s original container designs helped establish the company, and the family has followed in his footsteps. “Although we have a line of standard products
in stock, we are always open to custom solutions for customers, both in the below-the-hook market as well as for containers,” DiMartino, Jr. elaborated. “From these special applications, quite often a product is born, paving the way for uses by other companies.”
