Ruth still owns and operates


Armstrong Farm , while not cur- rently eventing competitively Ruth still breeds trains and sells young warmbloods with her daughter Tiffany who is now 18 years old. For fun Ruth and Tiffany tried Polo with Buffalo Polo club with Phil Van der Burgt the owner of Cedar Valley pole club. She has bow accumulated a whole string of Polo ponies to sup- port the fun and switched to Toronto Polo Club. Ruth Armstrong, whose love


of equestrian sport was cultivated in her native Great Britain. While working as a corporate executive she has competed internationally in both show jumping and event- ing. In addition to being an active competitor and level 2 jumping coach, her Armstrong Farm has gained a reputation for its breeding program, which features proven Selle Francais bloodlines and has produced young stock which is winning in all three disciplines, particularly in the United States. In addition to standing stallions at stud, Armstrong Farm also pro- duces approximately 10 foals each season through its breeding pro- gram. Armstrong trains these young prospects and, every spring, debuts a new crop of talented youngsters in the show arena for sale. Armstrong also trains and campaigns external stallions and young stock on request Armstrong was the leading


female rider for the OHTA in 2007 & 2008, bred and produced the
