Ottawa, ON, Feb. 25, 2019 – Practice makes per- fect, so why not prepare for your 2019 debut in the dressage ring with the Am I Ready Series, a free service offered to current EC Sport Licence Hold- ers who have indicated dressage as their primary discipline. The Series is a user-friendly, cost-effective
and convenient development resource for Canadian dressage athletes from coast-to-coast – or anywhere in the world! A digital video recorder (or even sim- ply a smartphone or tablet) and internet access is all that is needed to take advantage of the following benefits:
Test Familiarization: There are new dressage tests for 2019, and this is an ideal opportunity to have your test evaluated by an EC certified judge before performing it for the first time in a competition set- ting. Real-World Feedback:Athletes and their personal coaches can review test feedback from EC certified dressage judges and identify areas for improve- ment. Competition Preparation: Those looking to enter EC sanctioned competitions for the first time, or
advance to a higher level of competition, can get a leg-up on preparation by implementing judge feed- back at home before entering the ring. Development Opportunities: Those who don’t have access to competitions in their geographic area can receive formal evaluations from EC certified dres- sage judges without leaving their stable. The Series features an online portal that al-
lows athletes to record their performances of EC dressage tests at their own stable, and upload the videos for review and evaluation from an EC cer- tified dressage judge. Tests of all levels can be up- loaded, from Introductory to FEI, and multiple videos may be submitted for the same test. Don’t have a 20x60 ring? Not a problem, as
the tests can be adapted to the size of your ring at home, as long as all required movements are shown. In advance of submitting your video, contact
