These classes are split into level 1 for beginner non-pro riders who have never com- peted in NRCHA classes, and level 2 for non-pro riders who have less than $100 in NRCHA limited non-pro classes. This allows for the beginner rid- ers to compete solely against others of the same level and ability. Classes offered are Cutting and Boxing. Exciting new for beginner riders is our incen- tive program, in which there is a saddle to be won!

schooling (boxing and fence) classes for those in- terested in showing their horse, but not competing. These classes are judged but riders are not placed within the class, leaving the scoring for improve- ment purposes. This can be an opportunity for open riders wanting to familiarize themselves with the cow horse arena before entering competitive showing or someone riders taking a green horse out for the first time. These classes allow the par- ticipant to complete as much or as little of the rein- ing pattern as they are comfortable with, followed by the cow work. For more information on all of the classes and

Mississippi are now complete. Congratulations to all the competitors who made the long journey of over 1800 km to show their horses. It is a task just to get your horse ready and keep them fit over the long and cold Canadian winter months. Ontario Cutting Horse Association was well represented and our members enjoyed a successful work offs. Eric Van Boekel riding Peppy’s Cashin Checks was 4th in the NonPro, 5th in the 5000 NovNonPro and 7th in the 25,000 NovNonPro.
