UniqueVenues
Earlier this year, the Chemical Heritage Foundation (CHF) changed its name to the Science History Institute. This change follows a 2015 merger with the Life Sciences Foundation (LSF), an organization that is focused on the history of the life sciences and biotechnology. The new organization formed by the merger focuses on the history of chemistry, chemical engineering, and the life sciences.
In addition to being a valuable resource for learning about this history, The Science History Institute also serves as an elegant venue for creating unforgettable occasions, with world- class event facilities in the heart of Philadelphia’s historic Old City district. Flexible spaces, experienced event experts, modern audio-visual equipment, and on-call technical support all work together to accommodate any event.
The Institute’s conference center has occupied the 1865 First National Bank building in the heart of historic Old City Philadelphia since 2008, with renovated facilities that incorporate modern recycled materials and sustainable practices.
A premier catering and event decor company in Philadelphia, Catering by Design blends expertly prepared cuisine with striking concep- tual design. Their team is exclusive at ONE North Broad, at the majestic Masonic Temple; The College of Physicians of Philadelphia and The Mütter Museum.
The Franklin Institute serves as an inspiring backdrop for corporate events and meetings. Spark the creative imagination of employees, dazzle clients, or impress patrons by holding a corporate event in its unique indoor or outdoor locations, including dedicated conference facil- ities on-site.
Escape Rooms at The Franklin Institute are whimsical, laugh-out-loud experiences filled with subtle (and not-so-subtle) pop culture ref- erences. To “escape,” guests must unravel a series of clues, codes, puzzles and tasks within 60 minutes.
