West Bridgford-based creative agency The Dairy has made Account Manager Verena Batchelor part of its senior management team, after promoting her to the position of Account Director. Verena has been with The Dairy
since 2014 - overseeing a range of high-profile accounts and bringing with her skills in video production. She studied Art History, English Language & Literature, and Italian, at the University of Bonn in Germany, before moving to England and completing a BA in Art History and a masters degree in Visual Culture at the University of Nottingham. Prior to joining The Dairy, Verena
worked for a Nottingham-based video agency as well as working in her home country of Germany in a freelance capacity, enjoying a short stint as a presenter on a German TV channel. After four years working closely
with The Dairy’s portfolio of clients, The Dairy’s MD Nigel Rowlson has promoted Verena to the company’s senior management team and given her more responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the agency.

Rachel joins Family Law Group Nottingham office
Family Law Group has expanded its family law team with the appointment of Rachel Maclean, who joins the Nottingham office as a solicitor. Rachel, who has 25 years of family law experience, joins Family Law Group to specialise in public and private law children cases. Sales Director joins Roundhouse team
Roundhouse Corporate, the commercial division of the Derby College Group, has appointed Darren Jackson as Sales Director to drive forward the organisation’s growth. Darren joins Roundhouse Corporate with more than 12 years’ B2B
sales management experience across multiple sectors including software development and training. He will lead the Roundhouse Corporate sales operations – working
with businesses across the UK to meet their apprenticeship and staff training requirements. Darren said: “The introduction of the Apprenticeship Levy has

Football Administration Manager appointed
Nigel Smith has been named as Chesterfield Football Club’s new Football Administration Manager. Nigel has a wide range of
experience in the grassroots and professional game, spending ten years at the Derbyshire County Football Association, latterly in the role of County Operations Manager. He also has 33 years’ experience as a football referee, regularly officiating at EFL games as an assistant referee.
