• Peel off

• Strong red tape and foam pads

• Scissors, pencil, hole punch, embossing tool

• Black fine line marker pen, hole punch

• Gift of your choice

Template, die cut tools and all materials listed available from Craft Corner

METHOD

1. Using an A4 piece of strong card, draw around your apron template, base and pocket and cut out.

2. Mark, score and fold all dotted lines.

3. Use a small piece of sponge and tea dye distress ink to colour around edges and draw faux stitching on apron and pocket.

Celebrating 5 years of fabulousness

4. With a pencil, measure 1/4” in on all sides of base. Using an embossing tool, score on all four sides. Snip and tape each corner.

5. Place strong red tape around the four sides of the base and down the narrow edge of the apron.

6. Carefully align base with bottom back edge of apron and press to secure. Now bring up both sides so the narrow taped edge is on the front right-hand side. Finally remove remaining red tape and secure front.

7. Use foam pads around edge of pocket leaving top open.

8. Place your die cut tools in the pocket. I used a small amount of string in the handle of the brush to dangle over pocket.

9. Punch 4 holes in your apron and thread with string starting at the front and knotting inside at the back.

10. Add your sentiment and gift of your choice.

Your Father’s Day gift box is now complete.
