Heather B performs fun songs from the 50s including Purple People Eater and Itsy Bitsy Teeny Weeny. Learn fun facts from the 50s. Entertainment includes two other performers with the great dance songs of the era. You’ll be dancing in your seat and get up on the dance floor if you like. The Diplomat West hosts the day. Complete luncheon before the show includes soup and salad, breast of chicken, roasted potatoes, green beans, dessert, and coffee or tea. Trip includes lunch, show, and transportation.

This bright and sunny show is packed with upbeat Broadway songs, funny comics and the creative genius of Charles M. Schultz. All of your favorite Peanuts characters are here: Linus, Lucy, Snoopy, Schroeder and the entire gang. Whether it’s a baseball game, a day at school, or Beethoven’s birthday, nobody knows how to celebrate like the Peanuts gang! CYT Chicago productions star students ages 8–18 and are fully imagined and staged productions for the whole family. The show starts at 10:00 am. If driving on own, inquire about parking options and please meet in the Batavia Fine Arts Center lobby at 9:30 am. Trip includes ticket and transportation option.

Start our day with a docent-guided tour of Anderson Japanese Gardens. Discover the essential elements used to create the beauty and serenity. Our two-hour walking tour is held rain or shine, dress for the weather and uneven surfaces. Lunch is on your own at Stockholm Inn. Prices are economical and the food is delicious. The Inn is known for its Swedish pancakes but has a big selection of breakfast and lunch entrées. Visit the Lingonberry Gift Shop. Next stop, the Nicholas Conservatory located in Sinnissippi Gardens along with the Eclipse Lagoon. The conservatory is the 3rd largest in Illinois. It has 11,000 sq. ft. of plant exhibitions with water features, a rose garden, and a lagoon. Enjoy the day! Trip includes transportation, tour, and conservatory admission.
