Our 25th Annual High School

Concert Band Festival showcased 17 ensembles this year but weather forced us to reschedule one of the festival dates. The performances by these groups are evidence of the many excellent

instrumental

music programs in South Jersey. Our festival coordinators were Mike Armstrong (Deptford HS) and Jon Porco (Absegami HS). The adjudicators were Joshua Roach (The College of New Jersey) and Patricia Cornett

(Temple University). Joe

Higgins (Rowan University) was our host at Rowan University. Mark Kadetsky and Marc Spatz were our host at Fernwood Ave. MS in Egg Harbor Township. Sue Moore (Mansion Ave.

School) and William Trimble (We- nonah ES) did a wonderful job in coordinating our 26th Annual Elementary Honors Band Festi- val, which was hosted by Patrick O’Keefe (Smithville School), Ra- chel DiPilla (Milton H. Allen ES) and Nick Rotindo at Shawnee High School on Saturday, April 28th. Our conductors this year were William Conn (Samuel Yellin School), John Bauman (John Glenn ES), and Erika Zeiters (Lakeside MS). We were still in need of managers at the deadline for this article. The 3rd Annual Elementary

String Festival will take place on Saturday, May 5th at Fernwood Avenue MS. Rhea Fernandes (Eastern Regional HS) will coordinate this event and Jocelyn Moore (Egg Harbor Township Schools) will be our host. Our conductors will be Sara Smith (Frances S. DeMasi MS) and Ian Hoblitzell (Washington Township Schools). We were still in need of managers at the deadline for this article.
