"We provide a wonderful service, we have a great time in here and they (customers) know that they’re going to get the quality products and the service that goes hand-in-hand,” said Freddie’s Paint owner Shelley Mueller after the store was chosen best paint store in the 2018 Best of Medicine Hat contest.
The full service extends beyond just the products. There’s also an interior designer on staff for the design-
challenged folks, helping make sure your home looks its best all the way around.
"That’s not a normal thing for a paint store,” said Mueller.
Along with hundreds of options for paint Freddie’s also sells stains, paint brushes, rollers, tape and everything else you might need for a project.
Paint is obviously the store’s bread and butter, but you can also pick up wall art, towels, furniture and all sorts of decor items.
Getting a customer into your store is one thing; keeping them coming back is another. At Freddie’s, which placed second in the contest in 2017, it’s about family.
"The people that work here are family away from their homes and treat each other like family and people see that when they walk in,” Mueller said. “We’re glad the people are happy with the service we provide and that’s what we strive for. We’re very blessed that we were chosen.”
