BOVEY Tracey Cricket Club are the Devon Cricket Champions after winning the Devon Premier League in 2017. Currently, we have four senior teams who play on Saturdays.
All four Saturday XIs play in their respective leagues in the Devon Cricket League. The 1st XI play in the Premier League of the Devon Cricket League. The 2nd XI competes against many 1st XIs of other Devon clubs. Our 3rd XI play their home matches at Stokeinteignhead Cricket Club and our 4th XI play their home matches at nearby Buckfastleigh Cricket Club. We play Sunday and midweek friendly fixtures. We have a
Ladies/Girls section that represents the club in the Devon Ladies’ League. Additionally, we have a thriving junior section with more than
100 junior members registered. We have 11 junior teams who compete at the different age levels in the local South Devon Youth League. The club has fixtures on most days or evenings throughout the summer. On occasions the ground is used by the county club to host some of their matches at all age levels. Other representative matches are also staged on the ground. We are open from April to September. On match days, teas and refreshments are available from the
pavilion. Bovey Tracey Cricket Club aims to provide the best playing
facilities and standards of cricket to all members and to be the leading Cricket Club in the region. Through a structured coaching and development programme the club will promote its youth through to the highest levels possible, playing at all times with a competitive but fair approach. Off the field, the clubhouse will be a welcoming environment for families and new members, encouraging them to join and share in the success of the club. The pavilion is available for hire when not required for cricket
matches and during the winter months. Bar and catering facilities are available for seminars, meetings and parties (not teenage parties).
