In the Footsteps of the Victorians

To mark the publication of a new book of local research into 19th century life in the Wray Valley, the theme of this year’s main exhibition will be Victorian Bovey Tracey. There will be a

Victorian Open Day on Saturday, March 31, 2018 to launch our new exhibition, featuring previously unseen photographs of Victorian Bovey. Come along and see how the town prospered

with a thriving pottery industry and the coming of the railway. Have your photograph taken in our Victorian ‘studio’! Our poppy remembrance continues throughout

2018 as we approach the centenary of the end of the First World War.

‘Follow the mosaic trail around Bovey Tracey and discover the history of our town.

Pick up your free copy from the information centre in the car park, Station Road’

Cards, books and small souvenirs for sale. Proceeds go towards heritage centre

running costs. Registered Charity : 1063070
