Bovey Tracey Swimming Pool
THE Bovey Tracey Swimming Pool is a heated open air pool with sun terrace and spectator area, disabled facilities and toddler pool. The pool is open from Saturday, April 21 to
Sunday, September 9, and full opening times can be found on our website. Evening activities include lane swimming, children’s swimming clubs, lifesaving clubs, Happy Hour (all swims £1.50), ladies’ night and adult conditioning sessions. We also run early morning swim sessions on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. One-to-one swimming lessons are available with qualified swimming teachers. Family

YOU’LL get a warm welcome at Heathfield Community Centre. We host a wide variety of activities and events every week. Monday evenings: KETTLERCISE – 6pm to 6.45pm; PUPPY SCHOOL – 7.15pm to 8.15pm (we are hoping to add more Puppy School classes. Watch our notices). Tuesday evenings: Alternate weeks BINGO NIGHTS! Eyes down at 7pm (See notice board for details). Wednesday mornings: Alternate weeks COFFEE MORNINGS with Draws and Bingo! Eyes down at 10.30am (see notice board for details). Wednesday evenings: CUBS & SCOUTS – 6.15pm to 8.15pm. Thursday afternoons: KNIT & NATTER – 2pm to 4pm. First and third Thursdays of the month (see notice board for details). For people of all skill levels and people who just want a chat! Thursday evenings: Two KETTLERCISE CLASSES starting at 6pm and again at 7pm. Friday mornings: PILATES 10.30am to 11.30am.
Friday evenings: TEIGN KICKBOXING (ages 7+) 7.30pm – 9.30pm. Saturday mornings; KETTLERCISE 9am to 9.45am. Sunday mornings; TEIGN TOTS (ages 4-7) 9am to 9.45am. TEIGN KICKBOXING 9.45am to 12.45pm. We are also proud to regularly host NEWTON ABBOT WI and MOOR QUILTERS meetings (see notice board for details). Our hall is ideal for CHILDREN’S BIRTHDAY PARTIES (big enough for a bouncy castle!) and our upstairs area is comfortable for BUSINESS MEETINGS, TRAINING SESSIONS and FAMILY GATHERINGS. There are kitchens on both floors where you are welcome to make light refreshments. The centre has full disabled access and includes disabled facilities.
