CUSTOMER SERVICE AWARD (4+ PHARMACIES)
WINNER: BOOTS, BALLYCLARE
Brian Morgan, Director of UK & Ireland Business from KISS Cosmetics with Fiona McKillen and the team from Boots Ballyclare
t
he mystery shopper, who judged this category, was impressed not only by the overall appearance of the pharmacy itself, but
by the service provided by both the pharmacist and the rest of the team.
the pharmacy branch is in the middle of Ballyclare town square and so it is easy to find. nevertheless, the shopper found the overall appearance clean and clear, with signage brand consistent. despite the fact that there was building work going on next door to the pharmacy, the staff had ensured that the entrance to their store was clear of any litter or objects.
Inside, the shopper found the pharmacy section very welcoming and inviting. the shelves were well stocked and everything was priced. Every customer
in the pharmacy was being attended to in a confident and reassuring manner.
as the shopper walked over to the pharmacy section, he was immediately approached by a female member of staff, who greeted him warmly with ‘how can I help you today?’
the advice that they received from the staff member with regard to their medical complaint was excellent and they were particularly impressed by the fact that, in addition to the fact that they were able to address his query themselves and did not require any assistance, they also checked his medical history. the shopper concluded that they ‘would happily visit this store again’ in light of the service they received.
Fiona McKillen, Boots Ballyclare ‘this award will put Boots at the centre of the local community and will enable our patients to know exactly what we can offer them.’
Brian Morgan, Kiss Cosmetics ‘the northern Ireland market has been excellent in supporting the Kiss brand and we just wanted to be able to give something back. It’s a great pleasure for us to be involved.’
