Hot Tub & Swim Spa Scene UK POOL & SPA AWARDS

operators, hot tub manufacturers and retailers. SHOW STOPPER

The coveted Spa Showroom Of The Year title was scooped by The Award Leisure team, also marketing as A5 Spas, who completed an overhaul of their A5 showroom in February this year. “We have designed the showroom to offer the wow factor,

with smaller spas and price-pointed hot tubs situated at the front of the store with well-located shop, with best sellers at the back. The outdoor show area is a whopping 2,000 m2

credibility, fun and an exploratory shopping experience - for both existing and potential customers,” Mark Anthony told judges on behalf of the award-winning Warwickshire based team. Offering extensive indoor and outdoor displays, the closing area is packed with pictures of previous sales. The indoor showroom is 500 m2

including gazebos

and cabins, a ‘try before you buy’ 17ft infinity swim spa, a working bar with free drinks, with an undercover pizza making workshop and eating area.

PRESTIGE PROJECTS The number of entries in the Hot Tub Project Of The Year category was so large that the entry was divided into In-ground and Above Ground installations with 25 projects gaining bronze, silver or gold accreditation and two category winners in each section. One of the current selling trends is the increased value and prestige of projects. A perfect example of that were the two luxurious category winners by Aqua Warehouse and London Essex Hot Tubs, in the Swim Spa Project Of The Year section. Product Of The Year was so well supported that the category was split between pool and spa sectors. Superior Spas took the title for its Rio Grande Spa entry which also was acknowledged for its green credentials in the category of Energy Efficient Award, sponsored by Heatstar.

The competition jury unanimously voted for Ryan Sparque as the

2017 Spa Technician of The Year. Blue Whale Spas told the judges that Ryan is one of the most committed, knowledgeable engineers with a massive ‘can-do’ attitude.
