Situated on the County Durham and North Yorkshire border in the North East of England, the Hotel Pool Of The Year was won, for the second year in succession, by the Rockliffe Hall Hotel, with silver awards going to Ufford Park Woodbridge and Bronze awards going to Cheshire Wellness.

As part of the school’s community strategy, Latymer provides full free learn to swim programs for all local primary schools with roughly 900 children from the borough benefiting from free swim instruction at the pool. In the schools category, Buckingham Swimming Pools added to their significant award haul with silver and bronze awards with silver also for Triwater Leisure and Warwick Foundation Schools.

TOP OF THE CLASS Top marks went to Latymer Upper School, situated on the banks of the Thames in West London, finished top of the class in the category for School Pool Of The Year. The school’s outdated sports centre was demolished in 2013 and the new centre opened in 2016.

GOOD HEALTH Health Club Pool Of The Year was another category which had judges feeling the wow factor. The category title was awarded jointly to Cheshire Wellness and to Buckingham Pools who also picked up another gold award.
