Opened to the public last summer, Birmingham’s Sparkhill Pool and Fitness Centre boasts a six-lane, 25m pool with viewing areas, along with a learner pool, sauna and steam facilities. The water leisure features share the prestigious premises with an 80-station fitness suite, dance studios, café and community room. Together the combined facility welcomed more than 97,000 visits in its first three months.


The consortium that designed and built the new leisure centre included Pellikaan Construction and Roberts Limbrick architects, in a project led by leisure operators, Places for People Leisure.
