Known for welcoming muddy boots and paws after a walk around Worsbrough Country Park, Millers’ new owners, Adam and Lisa Hawksby have introduced family friendly ideas inspired by their young daughter, Scarlett. For pre-schoolers and their parents, Toddler Tuesday brunch is a great way to meet new people. Why not share a Mini Millers Afternoon Tea with sweet and savoury treats for parent and child. As a trained chef, Adam has also added new ideas to the menu with his range of Millers Choice specials.
Winter warmers such as stew and Yorkshire puds or toad in the hole make a regular appearance. Lighter bites such as potato skins are great for a pre-dinner snack. Thursday is pie day and the weekends bring brunch favourites such as bagels with bacon and cream cheese.
Using locally sourced produce such as meat from Billy’s Hill Farm Shop and Casa Espresso coffee roasted in Shipley, Adam also uses the flour from the on-site mill to make fresh bread.
