In loving memory of our hero and friend, Southern rock guitar hero,

Dave Hlubek of Molly

Hatchet. May you rest in peace, brother. Thank you for the music and the friendship.

THE VINE

Hi Gang. . . Well, we were all knocked f0r a loop by the death of

the great Gregg Allman in May. In a year that claimed the lives of Allman Brothers drummer Butch Trucks and the great Col. Bruce Hampton, none of dreamed it could get any worse. It got worse. The greatest voice in Southern Rock and blues was silenced. The music world would never again be the same. We at Kudzoo did what we do. It’s all we can do. Cre-

ate a written tribute to brother Gregg. We hope you enjoy it.

We truly hope you enjoy the in depth interview Jack

Weston did a few years ago with Willie Perkins. Lots of great information there! We are also happy to present our Road Trip to Phoenix, Arizona for Comic Con and some good food! We are pleased to feature an interview with CArolina Southern rockers, The Silver Travis Band, as well as our favorite gonzo journalist, James Calemine, along with book, CD, restaurant and live show reviews! Congratulations to all of our winners in the auto-

graphed CD contests for The Boxmasters, Tommy Talton and Paul Hornsby. We trust you are all enjoying the fine music you won just by sending in a simple e-mail! Kudzoo loves giving things away!
