Cholla Prime Steakhouse & Lounge Casino Arizona 524 N 92nd St. Scottsdale, AZ 85256

you will understand. We ordered the Chateaubriand for

Two ($41). This char-grilled prime tender- loin is a mouth-watering delight. The waiter brings the meat out to the table part way into the cooking process to show you how it’s looking and the smell alone made me hun- gry. Chef Nicole Morrison is a master of meat. This was an absolutely excellent steak! Expertly cooked, accompa- nied by bearnaise and demi- glace sauces, both very good, and the asparagus and Au Gratin Potatoes were the perfect compliment. A glass of wine topped off the meal with perfection. To sum up, great food,

great ambiance, great wait staff, and affordable prices make this restaurant a “must visit” when in Scottsdale, Glendale or Phoenix, Ari- zona.

I don’t know where to begin describ-

ing Cholla. The wait staff are all extremely friendly and helpful, and before you even order, they bring you tasting samples of some of their fare just to whet your ap- petite. I was amused by the tiny iron fry- ing pan with cornbread inside. The taste was no laughing matter, it was so very good.

I was there with my buddy Eric, and

you’ll never find two men that are further from being vegetarians. We both love the protein. If you read the Comicon story this issue and the other restaurant reviews,
