As the first in the UK to offer integrated, multimodal logistics training for sea, road, rail and air, as well as a full range of support services, Modal Training is sophistication personified – I was fortunate to speak to the alumni of this almost sci-fi/meets reality company.
The driving force of this venture Sam Whittaker, Vice Principal for Strategic Projects Grimsby Institute and Modal Board Member was unable to join us for this narrative, however Ann Newlove, Business Manager and Lee, the trainer at the helm or should I say the ‘bridge’
educated me! As our conversation unfolds it is almost likened to a set of Steven Spielberg the technology is breathtaking!
I will temper my excitement but in short this facility offers training on a completely different scale – it is ingenious/exciting and in short virtual science!
