Footlights: The group are currently rehearsing for two charity performances before the summer, prior to starting rehearsals on a Christmas show. Now in its tenth year, the Stage Diary is not only an important guide to what’s on in all regions, but is also an on-line web introduction to potential expat’s researching community life in Spain. The diary also acts as a planning guide to assist groups avoid unnecessary clashes of production dates.


Cantabile Ladies Choir: The Choir will be concentrating on their autumn programme, proposed dates during the week 18th to 26th November. The plan is for music from around the world which hopefully will be performed in a variety of languages. They are always looking for new members for this friendly and sociable choir. Caprice: Caprice are now in their last few weeks of rehearsal before the summer break. After several successful concerts in their first year, they will be taking a well-earned rest before restarting in September. For

Careline Theatre: Following their sell-out hit comedy 'Allo 'Allo’, Careline are busy planning their October production. More details to follow. However, plans are already well advanced for their hugely popular New Year pantomime.

Costa Blanca Male Voice Choir: CBMVC are holding an open air concert at the Cueva de las Calaveras in Benidoleig on 30th June at 8pm. The choir will sing in the wonderfully acoustic entrance to this historic cave. Tickets

GASP: The Group presented ‘Just The Ticket’ in May at the Santara Life Resort, Gran Alacant.

hoped that as usual, a donation will be made to Cruz Roja, Santa Pola from ticket receipts. The Company are now resting before deciding on

Jávea Players: Box office now open for reservations for one of Jávea's most pleasant ways to spend a summer's evening – tapas with wine in the lovely courtyard, the Plaza Baix followed by a double bill in the Casa de Cultura which runs from Monday 26th June to Saturday 1st July. Two highly amusing short plays, 'Arrivals' and 'Departures' directed by Mike Harvey for the inclusive price of 17.50€. Tapas served at 7pm. Box office at www.javeaplayers.com.

Oliva Drama and Cultural Association: ODCA are pleased to announce their next production will be a murder mystery, 'The Great British Bump-Of f ’ . There will be
