But many people are reluctant to cut back. So why start yourself on the back foot, buy a plant that is strong and healthy and sets you off in the right direction. So, as I have hopefully now explained, just because a plant is taller than another, it doesn’t mean it is healthier or better in anyway.
If you need any help with sourcing plants, or if you want a planting plan or plant lists for your new or existing garden, this is all part of the service we provide our customers, so give us a call or send an email, I am always happy to help.

House and Home
Plant of the month.
This month’s plant of the month is….. love them or loathe them….. Lantana.
This may be a bone of contention for some people but for me they are such a great plant, that offer so much and ask for so little in return, they are drought tolerant and offer such a good flowering period, that for me a Garden on the Costa Blanca just isn’t one without them. There are two types, there is Lantana Camara which is the shrubby variety and then Lantana Delicatissima which is the one which droops over walls. They come in a variety of colours, are cheap and very easy to look after, give them a good pruning post cold weather and watch them literally bounce back into life. Also you can trim them a couple of times through the year if they are getting a little large and normally they will flower again. What more can you ask for.
