“Moonlight Serenade” Dance Under The Stars
A great treat is in store for those who love the music of the big bands like Miller and Goodman and some of the newer fellas, and who maybe love to dance!
Think of a warm Summer night sitting outside in the moonlight with your friends, drinks in hand and listening to your kind of music.
On Monday 5th June we are presenting an open-air concert with the ROMMY BAKER BIG BAND and its international musicians plus a performance of “Swingtet”a lively quintet as a special feature.
This concert will take place on the esplanade of the Casa de Cultura in Alfaz starting 8.30pm.
There will be an outside bar run by the local fiesta group the Mayorales as well as the facilities of the cafeteria of the Casa de Cultura.
The ayuntamiento have thrown their support behind us as have various local associations representing the many nationalities that reside in the town and the event, arranged to support the Alfaz year of health, will benefit the AECC - the Spanish National Cancer Charity - and with a donation to the local Social Volunteers Association.
Tickets are 10€ each (including seat) and can be bought in advance which is recommended as there will be a limit. They are available from: tiendas Cancer Research Alfas y Albir, Amas de Casa, Oficina de Turismo Albir, Casa de Cultura cafe.
