To All Cat Lovers….
There is not much that makes me angry but the blatant abuse and ill treatment of any animal definitely ranks high on my normally laid back attitude to life… Unfortunately, this cruel side of some people has struck again. Early one Saturday evening last month the Benitatxell Police were called to a local bin area where they found 11 kittens about 5 weeks old! Not only had they been taken from their mothers and left in the sweltering heat unattended, they had been sealed in the box with tape! The local Police, on the recommendation from Benitatxell Council, contacted me for help. The kittens were brought to Kingdom of Cats by the duty Policeman who had put his hand in his own pocket to buy food for these poor defenseless kittens. The kittens, despite their traumatic experience, have coped well and are enjoying the pampering and facilities at Kingdom of Cats. Jose Luis Genoves Garcia of Albeitar Veterinario, Xabia the Cattery vet has examined them all, free of charge and has confirmed they are in good health. However, there is one little cat who has had to have antibiotics as he has sustained several nasty bites. Benitatxell Council have very generously offered to anyone who adopts one of these beautiful kittens to pay for the first course of vaccinations and also for the kitten to be neutered. A huge plea, these adorable kittens need loving and caring homes… Please contact Kingdom of Cats. Tel: +34 695 136 091 or email us on
