Win On Waste


Broadstone residents are really getting behind our Win on Waste scheme at Broadstone Library.


At the session in May, 31 people brought us their recycling from milk bottle tops to tassimo discs, soft animals to biscuit wrappers.


We know that many more people contributed to this as some of the donations had come from local groups who had been saving up the items collectively.


Five local good causes benefi tted, and looking at the quantity collected it would defi nitely have fi lled a couple of wheelie bins.


The next sessions will be on 3rd June and 1st July from 10-11am at Broadstone Library.


Please bring: Stamps, milk bottle tops, washing up liquid tops, cleaning bottle triggers, tassimo discs, jigsaw puzzles (including those with missing pieces), used birthday wrapping paper, biscuit wrappers and spray deodorant cans.
