CHRISTMASSY CRANBERRY


MARGARITA As red as Santa’s suit, this cranberry creation is certainly no turkey


You will need: • The juice and finely grated zest of 1 orange • 1 tbsp coarse sea salt • 1 tbsp granulated sugar • Honey


• 200ml tequila


• The juice of 1 lime • 200ml cranberry juice • 50ml triple sec • Ice • Martini glasses • Shaker


Method: Mix the orange zest, salt and sugar in a saucer. Coat the rim of the glasses with honey, dip into the mixture then place in fridge to chill. Place all other ingredients in shaker and mix until the outside of the shake feels cold, then strain into chill glasses to serve.


SLOE GIN SPARKLE


A little glass of luxury, the sweet taste of sloe gin is given a bubbly makeover.


You will need: • 30ml sloe gin • Sparkling wine of your choice


Method: Pour the sloe gin into a well-chilled champagne glass, then top up with chilled sparkling wine.


FINALLY, THEY’LL GO NUTS FOR THESE NIBBLES


These sweet and spicy nuts will go perfectly with your drinks this December and New Year.


You will need: • 1 tbsp sunflower oil • 1 tsp ground cinnamon • ½ tsp mixed spice


Method:


Mix the oil and spices in a bowl, stir in the nuts and drizzle in half the honey. Spread over a baking sheet and cook for 10 minutes at 140C. Remove from the oven and drizzle on the remaining honey, before cooking for a further 10 minutes. Cool completely before serving.


• 400g mixed nuts • 2 tbsp honey
