For Kate at Oyster Bay, “Running the Wine Club has been a fantastic experience. We’ve had a fantastic group of members and it’s been great to see new friendships blossom over the 5 months.”
Kate has really enjoyed sampling the wines, including some she wouldn’t usually try and both her and colleague Nat are already looking forward to next year’s events.
Carly from Yorkshire Dales has really enjoyed hosting the events this year, and says “It has given me the chance to get to know owners on a more one to one personal level and I have enjoyed tasting the wines along with the owners and learning something new at each event.”
Finally, Fflur and Caroline at Plas Coch share other parks enthusiasm for the event, say “We have thoroughly enjoyed the experience and have both gained so much from it. It has given us an opportunity to make new friendships with the owners and it’s been fun getting together in a more social environment.”
Available to buy at a discounted rate from Reception, all wines from this year’s events have been purchased from Winearray and the most popular pick has been a white Sauvignon de Touraine from France. Best served with white fish or goats cheese, this wine exhibits green apple and gooseberry aromas and at £9.50 a bottle doesn’t stretch the purse strings too far. We hope you agree that the Wine Club has been an excellent addition
to your events calendars this year. Keep a look out for information in the New Year about the Wine Club’s return and how you can join in the fun.
