Park Manager’s Update:

W

ow - it only seems like yesterday since I was last writing to you. I can’t believe how the year’s flown by!

And what a year it’s been at Littondale

where, I’m sure you’ll agree, the events have been a great success. Thank you for your support and thank you to the team for the time and energy they put in to organise things like this summer’s super BBQ. The new marquee proved a timely

purchase by keeping everyone dry as Milton did a great job keeping us all entertained. Your attendance was greatly appreciated, as were your kind donations for our charity of the year, Walking With The Wounded. I’d also like to thank those who joined

our walk to Kettlewell. Despite the weather we braved the conditions and enjoyed a drink at the Tennant’s Arms afterwards. As ever, we’d love to see even more of you at our events and if you have any

suggestions for next year, please let Elaine or Kim know – any suggestions will be much appreciated. With a number of new owners joining us

at Littondale this year, I’d like to welcome you all and hope you enjoy the experience and the tranquillity the park offers. I’m sure you’ll agree that Sean and his team do a wonderful job keeping the park looking its best. Recently, they’ve been planting bulbs that should brighten up the flowerbeds year round.

Speaking of which, we’re hoping to

improve the lighting at the park entrance and are also planning

to put low-level

lighting in the two new garden areas that will come on as you drive or walk past. We’ve also improved the play area, adding new springers for the younger ones to enjoy. I hope you’ve had a terrific 2016 - here’s

to an even better 2017!

James Renwick General Manager

It’s been a lovely summer at Littondale, culminating in a fantastic BBQ on August Bank Holiday weekend. A huge amount of owners came along and everyone had a great time while helping to raise an amazing sum of £1,207 for Walking With The Wounded. Thank you one and all, and to our fearless General Manager James Renwick, who recently completed a tandem Skydive to raise even more money for the charity.

Looking ahead to autumn and winter here at Littondale, I can’t wait to see the trees changing from summer greens to autumn reds and golds, surrounding us with a beautiful, colourful display. Then if we get snow, the whole park will become a winter wonderland. But whatever the weather, Littondale will look enchanting, thanks to our stunning location.
