SHAKE THINGS UP A BIT...

GET DARING WITH YOUR DRINKS AND TRY OUR CHRISTMAS COCKTAILS

The festive season is almost upon us. And with Christmas celebrations and New Year’s Eve parties planned, why not add a bit of sparkle to your refreshments? So get ready to swap that lager for a Long Island Iced Tea and that glass of Pinot Grigio for a Pina Colada and serve up some sensational cocktails instead.

To get you in the mood, here are some of our favourite festive tipples, which we think are well worth raising a glass to. Cheers!

FESTIVE FAIRY’S KISS

A lovely layered drink that’s delicious after a festive feast.

You will need: • 400ml chilled Tia Maria • Cocoa to dust • 250ml double cream

Method: Pour the Tia Maria into liqueur glasses, then carefully add the cream, pouring over the back of a teaspoon so it floats on top of the Tia Maria. Dust with a little cocoa and serve.

MERRY WHISKY MAC

A real winter warmer that tastes great and is simple to make.

You will need: • Whisky • Ice

• Ginger wine

Method: Using a tumbler, mix two parts whisky with one part ginger wine over a few cubes of ice. Add more ginger wine for a sweeter taste.
