Don’t miss out on these great on-park events over the next few months
October
29th October The Book Club Starts 4pm
Waking to blue skies, bright sunshine and a gentle, welcome breeze, 43 brave souls set off on 16th July to complete the annual Chantry Challenge, in aid of Walking With The Wounded. Living up to its name, the challenge involved a 5-hour walk, plus 1,000ft of ascent, taking in some of the Wensleydale Valley’s most breathtaking views. A tough day for sure, but definitely one to remember.
BAKERS WIN AT WEST WITTON FEAST
The West Witton Feast took place over the August Bank Holiday and, as with previous years, a number of our owners joined in with the many events taking place.
Baking couple Ritchie and Lois Pringle were both winners - Ritchie taking 3rd in the ‘Cake Baked by Man Only’ section with his Sultana Surprise cake and Lois awarded 1st in the ‘Tray Bake’ section with her Lemon Drizzle. Speaking of his win, Ritchie confided that the ‘surprise’ was that he’d replace the vanilla essence in the recipe with whisky!

Don’t miss the Christmas Markets
Get the festive feeling by visiting some of the many upcoming Christmas Markets held all over the Dales at this time of year. The Darlington Christmas Market with late night shopping is one definitely not to missed.
Plus, weekends throughout December join Sue in the Owners’ Lounge for Christmas cake and mulled wine. Then every weekend in February, come along for cake and Hot Chocolate.
Don’t forget...
Do not flush wet wipes, nappies or sanitary products down the toilets as they cause blockages in the system - thank you.
