November
Saturday 12th November We will be kicking off the winter season with the first of our mulled wine and mince pies weekends, in Reception from 1pm.
Saturday 19th November Join owners and staff for end of season drinks, in Reception from 4pm
“My daughters and I have spent years trying to convince my husband Jason to let us have a dog; researching which breeds would be the best fit for our family and our lives. “Finally agreeing, we chose a red
and white Staffordshire Bull Terrier, born as part of a litter in July 2015, who we decided to name Buddy. “Having a great love of animals from a young age, my daughter Abbie took on the task of training Buddy, joining the Junior Handler class at Wakefield Dog Training Club, where they work on a mixture of agility and competitive obedience in a fun and interesting environment.
“Since joining the club, Buddy and
Abbie have entered competitions both locally and as far afield as Manchester, coming first place in the Junior Handler classes. “Bolstered by this success, in August
2016, Buddy and Abbie entered the Championships, competing in the Young Kennel Club ring for the chance to go to Crufts 2017. Despite missing out on a first in their class, they did take the top spot in the Special Pre-Beginners ring. “Now continuing their training
together, the pair are planning to be even better prepared for next years Championships. Not bad for an 8 year old and puppy who’s only one and a bit!”
December
Saturday 3rd and Saturday 10th December Spreading the festive feeling, we’ll be serving up more mulled wine and mince pies, in Reception from 1pm.
Sunday 18th December Beat the chill as you choose to join us for winter warmer drinks and soup, in Reception from 2pm.
