Main – confit duck leg with sautéed potatoes, braised red cabbage and port wine jus or tian of baked macaroni with wild mushroom, butternut squash purée and sage cream (vegetar- ian – must be pre-ordered). Dessert – plum crumble with custard and cream. Tea or filter coffee with chocolate truffles to follow.


The dress code will be black-tie or white overalls with carriages at 11.30pm (bar last orders 11.45pm). Tickets cost, as last year, £65 per person.


GRANDWINTER DRAW 2016 – SCOREBOARD APPEAL UPDATE


T


he Aircraft Factory project continues at a steady pace and all being well should be completed around late Summer 2017. One of the finishing touches will be the replica Score- board to be sited on the edge of the Paddock and Finishing Straight and to which the Brooklands Trust Members are contributing £60,000.


News In the last few days members should have


received two books of raffle tickets – total value £20 – (and a reply envelope!) offering some excellent prizes. Your continued support for this project is very much appreciated.


The dinner programme will include a chance to buy a three-day charter for up to 11 people on this yacht based in Palma de Mallorca.
