of The Reeds at Shelter Haven have a special, exclusive feeling. “Groups have the satisfaction of knowing they may be one of only two groups on the property,” notes Yeager. “It is smaller, more intimate surroundings. There are only two floors so everyone is on the same floor and there is a lot to do within a small footprint.”
There also are three hospitality suites at The Reeds that face the bay with balconies leading outside often reserved for small social groups, meetings and private din- ners. “They all have full kitchens and the executive chef can come and prepare food right in the suite for the party.”
There are numerous activities available at The Reeds at Shelter Haven for groups, and their staff is happy to help arrange the details of a group outing. “The groups aren’t just enjoying dinner events, but maybe going to the beach and team build- ing there. We have yoga (in season), paddleboarding, pedal boats, kayaking, family floats and more. Guests can do fishing excursions and all kinds of great water activities on the bay.”
Activities like these as part of a group func- tion are really growing in popularity, Yeager adds, and the property has the resources to make these events special. In addition, The Reeds offers outstanding dining opportunities, too. “We have two really amazing restaurants: Sax, an out- door restaurant on the water, and the Water Star Grille.”
The Reeds at Shelter Haven also offers boat docking and works with a company that does boat tours, really maximizing their access to the water. “We also have a valuable relationship with Stone Harbor Golf Club, which is a private course that is well known in the area,”addsYeager.
With all the wonderful options in an amaz- ing and intimate setting, she further adds that clients really love the property, which celebrated its third summer since opening in June 2015. “Once guests come here they see it and automatically fall in love with it.
