“Day boat scallops are great, but not at a county fair themed event,” he said. “However, a scallop mousse corndog does work as great food while keeping with the objective.”
Day boat scallops are large sea scallops sometimes called “U-10s." There are about 10 of these scallops per pound. A scallop mousse corndog is like a mini corndog.
