Celebrate this summer with the Sevenoaks Festival
T
he summer in Sevenoaks is hotting up with the countdown to the Sevenoaks Summer
Festival, being held from 21st June to 6th July this year. Now in it’s 45th year, the festival continues to go from strength to strength, showcasing an outstanding line-up of diverse talent and skill. The rich programme of events includes something for everyone. Taking place at more than 25 venues across the town, the likes of Sir Willard White, Chas ‘n’ Dave, Young Professionals, Jez Lowe & The Bad Pennies and many more will be taking to the stage. Over the rest of the week, the array of events on offer range
from drama workshops, comedy, musicals, exhibitions, quizzes, poetry, dance and talks. The list is endless, and echoes the fact that there is literally something for everyone.
The end of the week-long festival will be spectacularly rounded-off by Jamaican-born opera singer Sir Willard White, who will be accompanied by pianist Eugene Asti. The performer has appeared on concert platforms all over the world and will be bringing his talent to Pamoja Hall, where his performance will feature operatic arias, songs from musical theatre, and a special tribute to Paul Robinson. • For more information, visit
