KNOLE HOUSE & PARK Grade I listed Knole House has been noted as one of the largest houses in England, with the National Trust stating the possibility that it could have, at some point, been a ‘calendar house’ – consisting of 365 rooms, 52 staircases, 12 entrances and 7 courtyards. The house stands in the most picturesque of surroundings too, in the midst of a deer park, with very little having changed over the last 400 years.

RIVERHILL HIMALAYAN GARDENS


Bought by John Rogers in 1840, Riverhill has become a fi ne example of fl ourishing nature, providing a home to a impressive collection of Japanese maples, rhododendrons and azaleas. Today, four generations of the Rogers family live at Riverhill, with the estate under the management of Edward Rogers, great-great-great-grandson of the John Rogers who bought Riverhill in 1840, and his wife Sarah.

Originally built as the ‘Majestic Cinema’ in 1937 – a fi rst generation Odeon cinema – the original shell of this building has stood proudly on the Sevenoaks High Street for more than 75 years. Now run as a charity, The Stag includes a theatre, two digital cinema screens and alternative performing and conferencing facilities, welcoming more than 25,000 people every month.
