Renowned chefs Chris and James Tanner have opened a new pub and restaurant in Bidborough. More than 100 people attended the official opening of The Kentish Hare where they met owners Sir Keith and Lady Maureen Mills, Head Chef Sam Spratt and General Manager Melvyn Strange. Lady Mills pulled the pub’s first pint for competition winner Gary Thorne. James said: “Chris and I are from Kent originally so we are very excited to be bringing our successful formula of fresh, local produce at realistic prices to the county.”
