Fairgrounds in Lake City, Florida hosted by Columbia County Resources, Inc. We are very proud of our incredible livestock program which averages 125 Hog entries and 20 Steer

entries for show and sale each year. The Livestock Program also has Meat Goat, Youth Dairy Heifer and Youth Dairy Heifer Shows. In addition a Record Book and T-Shirt Contests is another way for the stu-

dents to earn additional prize money. All exhibitors that show are eligible to enter the T-Shirt Contest. This is a contest that the exhibi- tors take our theme and incorporate into a picture and then they are judged and the winner goes on the front of a t-shirt with sponsors on the back. Every exhibitor receives a Fair T-Shirt and winners are awarded 1st, 2nd and 3rd place prizes. Every exhibitor is required to do a record book to keep up with their project animal. Winners are chosen in different age categories and awarded prize money. One of the staples to our fair is the ever popular Ron Diamond and his Hypnosis and Magician Show. Another very popular act

that will be back for the 4th year is the Kids Tractor Pull, this has grown tremendous with audience participation, as they interact well with our attendees. Other attractions new this year is The Sweeney Family Band. The Columbia County Fair has great participation from the many business, we have over 160 businesses that set up booths for display during the fair. Our booth theme contest, held each year, awards the winning vendor a free booth for the following year. The booth that decorates and illustrates our theme the best, wins. This also helps the fair have a cohesive theme throughout. Hildrebrand Rides brings us a midway full of thrills and fun for the whole family. We pride ourselves in maintaining the tradition of a local county fair, but yet enhanced to accommodate today‘s way of life. So if

you are in the area in November and looking for a safe, clean environment to enjoy an evening, stop by and check out North Florida‘s Best County Fair, the Columbia County Fair!!
