Parents/Caregivers of Children and Adolescents with Special Needs
With the challenges and social
issues facing many of our youth and families today, more support and education for youth and parents is critical. The City of Temecula serves a diverse group of youth in the com- munity which are comprised of fos- ter youth, at risk youth, military, underserved, special needs and the mental health consumer. This FREE educational series is
designed to provide information, strategies and techniques that sup- port the entire family. Parents are in- vited to join other parents to learn, asks questions, and share their ex- periences. Classes are taught by li- censed and trained professionals from the community. Preregistration is required and

Temecula to Host its 1st “ABC’s of
IEP’s” Workshop City of Temecula, in collabo-
ration with non-profit organization Lilly’s House, will be hosting an Individualized Educational Work- shop On Tuesday, February 26th from 9:30 – 11:30 am at the Temecula Conference Center. This workshop will offer par-
ents/caregivers of children with special needs an opportunity to speak with advocates experi- enced in IEP’s and will help par- ents/caregivers by providing direction in navigating the IEP process. Parents/Caregivers are encouraged to bring their active IEP’s for one-on-one attention. This workshop will be offered
