Eating a whole orange instead of drinking orange juice can introduce necessary fiber into your diet and help you lose weight. These ideas plus other valuable information about your health will be the heart of a health fair on Sunday, March 17 from 1:00 to 4:00 in Murrieta.

Tuesday, March 19 at Michelle’s Place, Breast Cancer Resource Center. Dr. John Link, leading oncologist and author of The Breast Cancer Sur-
vival Guide invites you to a free lecture regarding the steps for women who are recently diagnosed. Dr. Link will answer questions and talk about the journey of breast cancer. A book signing will immediately follow the lecture.
What to do with those Mushrooms? Come join Crows Pass Farm on Tuesday, March 12 for a class on how
to buy and prepare the different mushrooms now available to the home cook. We will review different types and their health benefits, how to incorporate them into your diet, basics of buying, storing and preparing as well as demonstrate 4 recipes. The class is $25, with $10 going directly to Michelle’s Place. All attendees will eat what is made in class. Two classes-a morning one from 10 am to 12 pm and an evening one from 5:50 pm to 7:30 pm.
