INNOVATIVE DEVELOPMENTS
The vast majority of slatted and hydraulic covers have been sold for domestic use. But with new innovative developments, Procopi can now offer as standard slatted covers up to 25m x 12m opening up the commercial market. Paramount has been able to offer consistent improvements to its Aquamatic safety cover system since it was fi rst introduced to British shores more than 15 years ago.

“Despite the tough economic conditions, automatic cover sales are maintaining their sales values,” comments Steve Martin of Paramount Pool Products. “As a distributor, we are still continuing to increase sales at a healthy rate in spite of the number of other new importers or the fact the country seemed to switch off for the entire month of August while the Olympics and Paralympics were running.” Assembled in the UK, Paramount’s Aquamatic system is available in widths of up to 11m, making it ideal for both residential and commercial applications. “We don’t just sell boxes,” says Paramount’s Steve Martin. “Because we stock all parts and accessories, we offer both reliability and fl exibility to work and adapt our products to every pool design,” he adds.

Ticking All The Boxes
A client of Kent Pool Services was going to America for three years and was renting her house out. The tenants loved the house but were worried about the safety aspects of the pool as they had young children. Both parties decided that a safety cover was the answer but it had to conform to the strict French Regulations which are probably the toughest in the world. The other factors that were important were the aesthetics’ of the cover, value for money, quality and the support of a manufacturer that had been in business for a long time. As it was a retro fi t cover the client did not want the pool surround disturbed so it also had to be solar-powered. Ticking all the boxes, the Aquadeck ES, solar powered version, with grey slats and Delta Locks was supplied by Pro Copi, manufactured, delivered and installed in a strict time scale.
