Good Spa Winners Are Shining Lights

ABOVE: Whittlebury Hall, in Towcester, Northamptonshire, took top honours in the Midlands region.

The Good Spa Guide’s annual awards shine a light on the best spas in Britain. This year’s hotly contested results include winners ranging from the well established, such as Ragdale Hall in Leicestershire, to newer kids on the block, such as The Spa in Dolphin Square, London.

The awards also gave spa goers the chance to have their say. The Good Spa Guide teamed up with Archant Life and asked their magazine readers to vote for their favourite spa in eleven different regions. People could vote online or via SMS.

“It was the fi rst year that we used regional voters,” says Anna McGrail, director of The Good Spa Guide. “It was amazing to see the way some spas are absolutely loved by their visitors. “They voted in their thousands and they left behind

such wonderful comments. When you read over and over that ‘nowhere else compares’ to a winning spa, you know you’ve found a bright star of the spa world.”
