Dear Readers,
We have been bringing you some interesting articles and insight into the African sports world for almost a year now and in about another Month we would be celebrating a year of our publications existence and we want to thank you all that have avidly followed what we do here at African Sports Monthly and ask that you continue to support our venture.
In this June issue we bring you a special Interview we had with Mr. Cairo Howarth President of EFC Africa. EFC Africa is Africa’s version of the UFC, and as the Mix Martial Arts craze catches on across the world Africa has all but stepped up with its own unique creation and it’s all courtesy Mr. Howarth.
Our London based correspondent Mr. Ayodele Odumade had a one on one talk with Mr. Jonathan Edwards former Olympian and World Record Holder in the Triple Jump and current member of the London 2012 Olympics Organizing Committee at a recent press conference we were invited to cover by the London 2012 committee.
Africa is fraught with problems supporting its sports ventures due to a lack of funding from corporations and businesses doing business across Africa one of our resident reporters in Africa takes an in-depth look at why this is a deep and prevailing problems plaguing Africa.
We also bring our usual bits on the best dressed African Footballers and our Beauty of the Month, in this issue we bring you the beautiful Ms. Stephanie Durst a Track and Field Athlete herself.
